Most Popular Annapurna Base camp trek

Annapurna Base camp trek, Annapurna trek, trek Annapurna , Popular trek Annapurna

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is scenically the most spectacular trek we offer in the Annapurna region. The view of the range from Pokhara is the view that will tower above you from the base camp. It follows the course of the Modi Khola up the gorge cut by river from the Annapurna South glacier and leads to a spectacular basin whose walls are formed by the ring of glacial peaks of the main range with the dramatic Machhapuchhare on the right flank.
This Annapurna Base Camp trekking begins north of the central city of Pokhara which is reached by a 6-7 hour bus ride of a 20 minute flight from Kathmandu. It begi ns at the village of Nayapul at just 1090m (1½ hours drive from Pokhara) and climbs gradually up the Modi Khola Valley through natural forests of oak, rhododendron, pine and bamboo. Villages are sited on ridges high above the river where slopes are gentle enough for terraced farming.
The climax of the ABC trek is reached in the spectacular Annapurna Sanctuary amphitheatre where you will first pass the Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail) Base Camp (3700m) en route to ABC (4130m). Here you are surrounded by an immense and breathtaking wall of rock and ice reaching heights from 6500 – 8091m and dramatised by closer rocky outcrops rising above the U-shaped valley gouged out by glacier. Cloud frequently forms in the late morning making for enticing glimpses of an ever changing landscape: at sunrise it is frequently still and clear offering viewers / photographers a surfeit of possibilities.
The downward journey only requires two or three nights with one spent at Jhinu Danda for a visit to the hot springs. The last morning requires a short trek to Phedi and a half hour drive back to your hotel in Pokhara.
Spring (March - May) and autumn (September - November) are the most popular seasons, but we can offer this trek throughout the year;Teahouse accommodation is plentiful and a variety of Nepali, Tibetan, Indian and Continental dishes are readily available. This 7 days Annapurna Base Camp Trek is thus suitable for anyone who is moderately fit and adventurous. All you will need is a good pair of boots, warm clothing, a sleeping bag and your camera. Manaslu Tsum Valley camping trek

Manaslu Tsum Valley,
on the border with Tibet, then around Manaslu (8163m/26783ft) eighth highest peak and over the Larkya La (5100m) is a challenging one that is also spectacularly beautiful and culturally very rewarding. Both camping and tea house treks can done in Manaslu Tsum valley trek and Manaslu Larke pass Trek. It was opened to tourism in 1991s and remote eastern Tsum Valley trekking being added in 2008s.
A scenic overland trip to Arughat a river bank local hub, where we begin our trek up its gorge, over countless ridges through hospitable villages. From Philim we turn east, over a ridge of pine and rhododendron forest, to enter the narrow Lower Tsum Valley. The broader upper valley lies in a north-south direction which we explore for six glorious days.
A large village in Tsum valley trek, Chekampar with slate roofed stone houses against a cliff. Crops include barley, maize, buckwheat and potatoes.  Mu Gompa, near Nile is a large monastery with many monks. Rachen Gompa is a nunnery. Views from here into Tibet are enticing. Gumba Lungdang is another important nunnery: you may wish to join them for an evening puja. The 360o mountain views from here are amongst the best on this trek. A high trek to the Ganesh Himal Base Camp through forest wilderness is also a highlight.
Our Tsum valley trail leads to Nupri “the western mountains” through bamboo forests to Around Manaslu Circuit trail offering views of Himal Chuli (7893m), Ngadi Chuli (7873m) and Manaslu (8156m) with the glaciers that flow from their flanks.
In Samagaon, the Kargu Choling Monastery and Pungyen Gompa are worth a visit. A high trail leads to the Manaslu Base Camp. The next two days climb gradually upward toward the Larkya La (5100m). The downward trail drops into the heavily forested valley of the Marsyangdi River and, on crossing the river it joins the Annapurna circuit trail and follow the downstream to Bhulbule for the bus to Kathmandu.  A trail to seriously consider at least once in a lifetime!

Everest Base Camp Kala Pathar Trek

Nepaltrekking
Everest Base Camp Kala Pathar Trek from the last village of Gorak Shep will combine to give you the most dramatic introduction to Everest possible. Base Camp offers the Khumbu Glacier, the infamous ice fall to the Western Cwm and, in spring, the preparatory conditions of mountaineers. Kala Patthar, behind the village, offers close-up views of Everest, Nuptse, the South Col and a ring of lesser peaks with beautiful Pumori next to you.
This Everest base camp trekking  begins with a scenic 35 minute flight to the northwest of Kathmandu and lifts you to Lukla (2780m) where you will meet your porters and set off, through farmland and forest along trails that have been trodden for centuries. Take time to observe local architecture, customs and habits; put aside “foreign ways” and enjoy the pace of life devoid of wheels, rush and time constraints. Let the setting consume you as you mingle with the people and experience their lifestyle, beliefs, skills and warmth. Prayer flags, chortens, mani walls and gompas will testify to the importance of Buddhism in their lives.
Our Everest Base Camp trek Nepal is carefully structured to minimize the risks of altitude sickness (AMS) by limiting the length of each day’s walk and the gain in altitude. A rest day at the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar allows for an acclimatization walk to explore Khumjung, the largest Sherpa Village in the region before dropping back “low” for the night. As the EBC trekking trail rises, the villages become smaller, the vegetation and crops change to cope with shorter growing seasons, your pace becomes slower and the scenery more dramatic. A second acclimatization day is required at Dingboche, after which you gradually climb to the last village of Gorak Shep.
The Mount Everest Trek  return journey, whilst quicker as you lose altitude, is no less spectacular and also affords the opportunity to re-observe, re-assess and enrich your experience.
This strenuous trek requires fitness, good boots, warm/waterproof clothing, a good sleeping bag, a day pack camera sunscreen and hat. Our Everest trek package includes transport, porters, meals, accommodation and drinking water.
Spring (March - May) and autumn (September - November) are the most popular trekking months, but Mountain Mart Treks’ adventure team offers this trek in all four seasons.
